Confession, I am NOT a Halloween person. I don't decorate, don't costume, don't party. (Though I do hand-out candy so I can nibble between the doorbell.) But I do like scary books and spooky movies and the general atmosphere of the month. So THIS year, since we all need something to look forward to, I spent a lot of time in September planning my October reading list.
Note: Planning reading lists is NOT a normal thing for me. I never set reading goals, or track my reading, or anything like that. But, for some reason, I greatly enjoyed coming into October with specific titles, specifically chosen for their potential for spine tingles and spooky socks.
